Cryogenic swivel

The cryogenic swivel with two ball races, series C879, allows the rotation of metal pipes in under pressure transfer of cryogenic fluids (e.g. Methane, Nitrogen, etc.). It is designed to withstand high pressures and loads applied. The swivel is made with a male and a female body screwed to specific weld neck flanges The connection and rotation between the two main components are guaranteed by the presence, in both bodies, of the two ball races. The pressure seal of the swivel and flanges is guaranteed by the presence of main seals suitable for cryogenic temperatures. A same feature is also ensured by the secondary seals present between the ball races. The design of the cryogenic swivel is aimed at meeting: the requirements of the most stringent guidelines in the field of cryogenic fluid transfer with marine arms (OCMF) and the European regulations regarding the transfer of the same in the terrestrial context (UNI EN ISO 16904). This makes the C879 swivel resistant and durable over time in extreme working conditions.
