From Joining Silea to Becoming CFO

My name is Bruna Bandini and I joined Silea back in 1989, starting my journey in the administration department. Since then, my entire career has unfolded within the company,
making me today the person with the longest “tenure” in the organization.
In 2012, following a managerial transition, I became part of the company’s management team and took on the role of Chief Financial Officer. Today, I focus on management control, with the objective of ensuring proper supervision of all corporate processes from an economic standpoint.
My work is structured around four main phases – planning, monitoring, analysis, and corrective actions – carried out in close collaboration with the various department managers. Through the collection and analysis of financial data, I work to identify the company’s strengths and weaknesses, evaluate the solidity of our strategies, and contribute to improving efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities and Teamwork

Management control is a complex field, because it represents the true thermometer of a company’s economic solidity. I firmly believe that every strategy must start from an accurate analysis of data – which is why I approach my work every day with precision and absolute dedication.
For me, Silea is a second home, a family, and the greatest satisfaction comes when the numbers confirm that everything is moving in the right direction: it is the tangible proof that our shared commitment is generating results.
The main challenge is to keep improving, stay aligned with industry developments, and maintain a proactive approach to continuous learning. Among the values I feel most strongly connected to are the reliability of our products and the strength of teamwork. My relationship with the team is built on trust and mutual listening: communicating, sharing,
and facing challenges together is what allows us to work in a harmonious and cohesive way.

The most gratifying moment in my career has been watching the company – and the people who make it – grow. I have always believed that a company without valued and motivated human resources would be nothing more than an empty box.

If I had to summarize my journey in one sentence, it would be this:
